Improper assembly of parts that are spring loaded can cause bodily injury.To prevent possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and wear protective equipment.
Install body (98). Install the O-ring seal to the body. Tighten the body to a torque of 41 7 N m (30 5 lb ft).
Put clean transmission oil onto the outside diameter of valve (97). Install spacer (96) to the valve. Install the valve, spring (95), and cap (94). Tighten cap (94) to a torque of 41 7 N m (30 5 lb ft).

Put clean transmission oil on slug (91). Install ball (93), spring (92) and slug (91). Use Tooling (C) in order to install retaining ring (90) to spool (87).

Put clean transmission oil on spool (87). Install shims (88) to spool (87). Install spring (89) and spool (87).

If necessary, install dowels (85) to support (84). Install the dowels 6.5 0.25 mm (0.26 0.010 inch) above the surface.
Place support (84) into position. Install bolts (86).

Install pin (83) to spool (77). If necessary, install dowel (82).

Install screen (79) to spool (77). Tighten the screen to a torque of 6.1 .7 N m (54 6 lb in). Install cam (81) to spool (77). Install pins (80) in pin (78) . The orientation of the inner pins should be approximately 90 degrees from the slot in the outer pin. Install the pins to the spool. Install the pins 1.0 0.5 mm (0.04 0.02 inch) below the surface of the spool.

Put clean transmission oil on spool (75). Install the spool to the valve body.
Install bolt (76) and the washer. Tighten the bolt to a torque of 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft).
Install springs (74), retainers (73), and bolts (72). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft).
Loosen bolts (72). Center the roller of springs (74). Align the springs and the notches on the cam.
Tighten bolts (72). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft).

Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press in order to install bearing (71). Install the bearing 3.0 0.5 mm (0.12 0.02 inch) above the surface of the housing.
Lubricate the O-ring seals. Install the O-ring seals to plugs (70). Install the valves
