Problem 5: Lift Arm Position Sensor Circuit Fault (F1 or F2)These fault codes indicate that an invalid position signal or no signal is being received from the position sensor. The signal is a square wave whose duty cycle varies with the position. F1-Lift Arm Position Sensor Signal Out-of-Range.1. Check the linkage connecting the sensor to the lift arm. The movement of the lift arm should cause the linkage to rotate the center spool on the position sensor.2. Run the Position Sensor Checkout under the System Setup. If the sensor passes proceed to Step 3. See "Position Sensor Adjustment", Page 4.3. Disconnect the harness from the PMC. Disassemble the rod and bale linkage that links the sensor to the lift arms. Measure the voltage between PMC harness connector sockets 6 and 2, while moving the lever connected to the position sensor up and down.If the voltage changes evenly from low to high [approximately .5 to 4 Volts on a 110-8190 Sensor (Medium Wheel Loaders) or 9X9100 Sensor (Large Wheel Loaders) or .5 to 9.5 volts on 3E5400 Sensor], then go to Step 4. If the voltage is constant or changes erratically with the sensor
