Added machine models as of January 3, 2006 where SystemOne? undercarriage is available as an aftermarket option.
Updated parts prices, effective January 3, 2006
Prices can still be updated to represent actual dealer prices by using the utility.
To use the UCS Price Update utility open Windows Explorer and go to the following address C:\Program Files\Caterpillar\Undercarriage Selector v2.0\UCSPriceUpdate.exe
New Features
All the easy to use features of UCS 1.0 are still available plus the following features:

Part Details: As shown in the image below, the ?Part Details? screen underneath the ?Log? button breaks down selected undercarriages into piece parts, including prices and quantities, making quote preparation and parts ordering simple.

Customer Presentations: As shown in the first image below, just click on the projector icon to create formal customer presentations using the estimates you have prepared for the customer.
The presentation includes a history of Caterpillar? undercarriage, SystemOne product specifications, customer testimonials, and Warranty details. The presentation feature is designed to be modifiable, allowing you to select the sections you want to show, based on your knowledge of the customer?s understanding of undercarriage. The ?Compare? icon captures the figures you have entered and silhouettes them in slow motion playback for review with the customer.

Machine Selector:
When opening UCS you will notice the ?New Machine Selector? option on the welcome screen. This option gives a Machine Sales Representative all the benefits of the parts Undercarriage Selector plus the addition of an Undercarriage Ownership Cost using the Machine Ownership Period (Shown in the 2 bottom images). Original undercarriage cost is calculated by entering the premium for SystemOne from the Machine price list.
