It also allows owners of the 7X1700 Electronic Tool Group to upgrade their tool to the latest capabilities.
The release of NEXG4523, V1.1 adds support of Flash Memory downloading of the ECM on 3176B and 3406E Electronic Engines to the original communications functions. If you already have a 7X1700 Electronic Tool Group, Flash Memory downloading can be added by ordering NEXG4523 through the Caterpillar Literature System.
