Under the operator platform, center of the machine. (1) Bypass manifold for the oil coolerBypass manifold (1) for the oil cooler is located on the left side of the machine. Case drain oil from the following hydraulic systems is sent to the bypass manifold for the oil cooler:
Cooling fan
Propel
Auger
Conveyor
GeneratorThe ports of bypass manifold for oil cooler (1) are marked for identification. Oil from the case drain for the fan motor is directed into port "J" of the manifold.Port "H" of bypass manifold for oil cooler (1) is equipped with a pressure tap. Oil cooler inlet pressure can be measured at this tap.The combined return oil from the connected hydraulic systems is sent out of port "TC" of the bypass manifold and to the oil cooler. The bypass manifold is equipped with a 105 kPa (15 psi) cooler bypass check valve. When the pressure differential across the oil cooler is greater than the value of the cooler bypass check valve, the valve opens and oil is sent to the combined suction and return filter.
