This 247-14 code is activated simultaneously with another ECM code, indicating that the SAE J1939 CAN Data Link has an abnormal condition.The FMI 14 will match the FMI 14 that is activated for the diagnostic code of the control module. FMI 14 (Special Instruction) means that the Implement ECM is not receiving expected information from another ECM.The 247-14 diagnostic code will never be activated by the Implement ECM as a stand-alone diagnostic code.
