If the machine enters the avoidance zone:
A flashing "Avoid. Zone Entered" message (5) with a yellow background informs the operator that the machine has entered the avoidance zone. This message appears in all screens.
The "Avoid. Dist." text item (2) shows a negative value.
A series of beeps sounds until the machine exits the zone.
The machine location as the machine enters and exits the avoidance zone is recorded in the "ProgramLog.txt" file.

A design can include on-screen linework. The on-screen linework can include the following background elements:
Site map
Background linework
Design boundary
Road AlignmentsSite Map
The site map provides an outline of the site. When a site map is present on the data card, the site map information loads when the system display is turned on. If the display is already turned on, then the site map information loads when the data card is inserted. Site map information appears in the Plan view guidance screen.

Background Linework
Background linework is similar to a site map, but background linework information loads and unloads with the selected design. Background linework information is useful for showing perimeters and other areas of interest around the design surface. Background linework information appears in the Plan view guidance screen.

Most designs have a design boundary which indicates the extents of the vertical guidance information. These boundaries are displayed using gray linework (9). If the machine moves outside the design boundary, then vertical guidance stops will appear.

In Cross-section view, the screen is blank except for the error message "Off Design No Cross-section Available".
In Profile view, the screen is blank except for the error message" Off Design No Profile Available".Surface design files can have holes or gaps (such as lakes) in them, and there can be valid areas of guidance within the gaps (such as islands).Road Alignments
Road design files (.dc files) can specify road features such as shoulder alignments, in addition to the master alignment of the road. The master alignment and any additional alignments are shown in both the Plan view and Cross-section view guidance screens.Illustration 7 shows a Plan view of a road design.
