Engine News SEBD9899, 25 September 2013, "Remanufactured Camshaft and Lifter Kits Are Available for Certain 3500B Engines". Disregard the previous article above. The article that follows has been updated with part numbers.The kits are to improve serviceability. For best camshaft life, the mating lifter should be replaced along with the camshaft. Refer to Reuse And Salvage Guidelines, SEBF8191, "Camshaft Roller Lifters in the 3500 Family of Engines" for more information.Remanufactured camshafts are no longer serviced separately. Lifters can be serviced individually.Table 1 contains the new kit numbers that can be ordered. The new kits are adaptable back to first production of the serial numbers listed above.
