PROBLEM
The existing crankshaft can fret on certain 777D Off-Highway Trucks. If the existing crankshaft frets it can prevent it's further reuse. In such case the existing crankshaft must be replaced with a new one.

ACTION REQUIRED
Remove the crankshaft as per the RENR9217.
Clean and inspect the crankshaft as per the SEBF8039.
If fretting does not allow reuse - then replace the crankshaft with a new one.
Install the new crankshaft as per the RENR9217.
