Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Clean each part with clean solvent. Handle each part carefully in order to prevent damage to the parts. Dry the parts with compressed air.

Insert bearing (36) into bearing housing (31). Install socket screws (35). Tighten the socket screws to a torque of 20 N m (15 lb ft).

Insert bearing (34) in bearing housing (27). Install retaining ring (33) and the socket screws (32). Tighten the socket screws to a torque of 20 N m (15 lb ft).

Assemble the bearing assembly.

Insert two socket screws (24) to secure bearing assembly (26).

Install bearing assembly (26) into the cartridge housing.

Install socket screws (24). Tighten the socket screws to a torque of 65 N m (48 lb ft).

Install piston ring (40) onto turbine and shaft assembly (37). Lightly oil the turbine shaft and the threads with engine oil.Note: Do not use grease on the turbine shaft.

Install gasket (39), bulkhead (38), and turbine and shaft assembly (37).
