Marine EngineC12 MARINE (S/N: NFL1-UP; C1Z1-UP)The oil fill tube and oil gauge are locking and have improved retention capability.The crankcase breather has improved capability.The new crankcase breather, oil fill tube, and oil gauge are adaptable to the above engines back to first production.Note: The new crankcase breather, oil fill group, and oil level gauge are offered as an optional service replacement only, and will not be implemented at the factory.Note: The oil level gauge contains notches on the dipstick. These notches are not the indicators of the "Full" and "Add" marks. The notches are part of the manufacturing process of the oil level gauge. Continue to reference the Operation and Maintenance Manual, Engine Oil Level Gauge - Calibrate for the proper marking of the oil level gauge.The new and former parts are listed in Table 1.

Attach oil filler tube (1) to the engine with two bolts (4) and two washers (5).Note: Make sure that the O-ring is in the oil filler tube.
