Do not engage the parking brake while the machine is moving unless the wheel brakes fail. The use of the parking brake as a wheel brake in regular operation will cause severe damage to the parking brake system.

The parking brake switch is located on the switch panel on the left side of the steering column.Note: If the machine has an hydraulic failure or an electrical failure, the parking brake will engage.
Parking Brake Switch - To engage the parking brake, push down the right side of the rocker switch. When the switch is in the engaged position, the indicator light inside the switch will come on. Note: When the hydraulic activation lever is in the locked position, the parking brake will engage.If the parking brake switch is depressed during machine travel, the machine will stop slowly.To disengage the parking brake, push down the left side of the parking brake switch.
