The switch for the parking brake and the switch for the axle stabilizers are located on the switch panel on the left side of the steering wheel. (1) Switch for the parking brake (2) Switch for the axle stabilizers
Brake Off with Unlocked Axle Stabilizers - Switch the rocker switch for the parking brake to the OFF position. This will release the wheel brakes. Switch the rocker switch for the axle stabilizers to the UNLOCK position. This will also unlock the axle stabilizers. Use this position for machine travel.
Brake Off with Locked Axle Stabilizers - Switch the rocker switch for the parking brake to the OFF position. This will release the wheel brakes. Switch the rocker switch for the axle stabilizers to the LOCKED position. This will lock the axle stabilizers. Use this position for lifting light loads with very slow travel.
Brake On with Locked Axle Stabilizers - Switch the rocker switch for the parking brake to the ON position. This will engage the wheel brakes. Switch the rocker switch for the axle stabilizers to the LOCKED position. This locks the axle stabilizers. This position will prevent tire movement. This position is used for lifting light loads when the outriggers cannot be lowered.
