Remove four bolts (9), the nuts, and the washers. Remove four clips (10) from the housing.

Remove two bolts (11) and the washers. Remove instrument console (13) and three harness assemblies (12) from the housing. Note: The three harness assemblies will be connected to the instrument console when the two items are removed.

Remove grommet (14) from the plate. Remove four bolts (15). Remove plate (16) from the housing.

Remove bolt (17) and the nut. Remove column (18) from the shaft.

Remove bolt (19) and the nut. Remove shaft (20) from the steering column.

Remove four bolts (22) and the washers. Remove steering column (21) from the bracket. Note: The steering column will remain in the housing until the brackets are removed from the housing.

Remove two bolts (23) and the washers. Remove bracket (24) from the steering column. Repeat for the other side.
Remove the steering column from the housing.

Remove four bolts (26) and the washers. Remove bracket (25) from the housing.

Remove button (27) from the steering wheel.

Remove nut (28) from the steering column.
Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure.Spring force will be released when covers are removed.Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.

Install Tooling (A) in order to remove steering wheel (29) from the steering column.

Remove cover (30) from the steering column.

Remove spring (31) from the steering column.
