This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI31848" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Codeand "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI31848" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
A failure of the engine speed timing sensors or the engine wiring to these sensors, may result in incorrect fuel injection timing and additional resultant damage.
The new software addresses this issue and needs to be installed on certain C175-16 generator sets.
The new software also eliminates the need to disable communication to the Temperature Control Module (TCM) as described in TIBU5843
The new software is a direct replacement for the previous engine software groups on the affected product.
