This Program must be administered as soon as possible.When reporting the repair, use "PI32179" as the Part Number and "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Codeand "T" as the SIMS Description code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI32179" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number,"96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

PROBLEM
The seismic certification label needs to be replaced on certain enclosed C27 and C32 Generator Sets. The existing label indicates an incorrect design spectral response acceleration value. Note that this does not adversely affect the package International Building Code (IBC) certification.

The dealer Technical Communicator must contact their Caterpillar Technical Representative to receive the replacement label.
The location of this label is shown in the Image 1.
The label to be applied is dependant on the generator model, C27, or C32. Remove the existing seismic certification label and replace as indicated in the Rework Procedure.
