Installation Instructions
Note: All of the new components in this installation procedure are part of 323-6934 Kit (Stick Speed). On machines that are equipped with a stick lowering control valve, the additional 322-8766 Load Control Valve Gp must be installed in order to complete the improved STICK IN speed.

Main Control Valve (1) Throttle valve (2) Pilot cap (3) Spring (4) Spring retainer (5) Stick spool
Install new spool (5), spring (3) and pilot cap (2) .
Remove the upper pilot cap (2), spring (3), spring retainer (4) and stick spool (5) from the stick valve section of the main hydraulic valve. Refer to Illustration 1.
Carefully install the new stick spool (5), with the narrow part of the spool to the top.
Assemble the old spring retainer (4) and new spring (3) .
Select the new pilot cap (2) with the short stroke limiter (7). Refer to Illustration 2.
Adjust the spool for the stroke limiter CCW by screwing the spool outward until the mechanical stop has been reached. This will allow the spool to have a maximum stroke. Torque the locknut and the cap nut to 15 N m (11 lb ft).
Assemble new pilot cap (2) to the main valve and torque retaining bolts to 10.5 N m (95 lb in).
Assemble new throttle valve (1) into pilot cap (2) and torque to 20 N m (15 lb ft).

Install the new compensator valve for the stick and the cap.

Remove compensator valve (8) from stick axis on the main valve. Refer to Illustration 3.
Install new compensator valve (8) and the new longer retaining cap. Torque the cap to 160 N m (120 lb ft).
Install new pilot cap (2) for the boom spool and spring (3) .
On the main hydraulic valve, remove the pilot cap (2) for the upper boom and spring (3) .
Install new spring (3) .
Select pilot cap (2) with long stroke limiter (6). Refer to Illustration 2.

Install the new pilot cap (2) for the boom and torque retaining bolts to 10.5 N m (95 lb in).
Assemble new throttle valve (1) into pilot cap (2) and torque to 20 N m (15 lb ft).
