Use Tooling (D) and a suitable lifting device in order to position track roller (9) on the machine with lube hole (11) toward the outside. The weight of track roller (9) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Note: There may be times when Tooling (D) will not have access to track roller (9). When this occurs, use two people in order to position track roller (9).Note: Tighten the abutment side of bolts (10) (not shown) first.
Install four bolts (10) (not shown). Tighten bolts (10) to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 12 lb ft).

If necessary, position guard assembly (8). Install spacers (7) and bolts (6). Repeat this step for the other side of the roller frame.

Use Tooling (A) in order to raise the front of the machine. Remove Tooling (B). Remove Tooling (A).

Remove Tooling (C) from supporting the counterweight.

Use Tooling (A) to raise the rear of the machine. Remove Tooling (B). Remove Tooling (A).

Illustration 7 g01579135Note: The beveled surfaces of spacer (4) must be installed toward weld (5). Refer to Illustration 6.
If necessary, install guard assembly (2). Install spacer (4) with the beveled edge toward weld (5). Install bolts (3). Install the spacer and bolt (1).
Adjust the track tension. Refer to Operation and Maintenance, "Track - Check/Adjust".
If you are installing the track roller on the right side of the machine, disengage the counterweight lock lever. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Counterweight Lock Lever".
