Removal Procedure
When servicing or repairing electric power generation equipment:Make sure the unit is off-line (disconnected from utility and/or other generators power service), and either locked out or tagged DO NOT OPERATE. Remove all fuses.
Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or disposal. Refer to Operation and maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".

Disconnect harness assemblies (2). Remove coolant temperature switch (1). Repeat for the opposite side. Installation Procedure

Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of coolant temperature switch (1). Install coolant temperature switch (1). Connect harness assemblies (2). Repeat for the opposite side.
Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change".
