Information:


At operating temperature, the hydraulic oil tank is hot and under pressure. Hot oil can cause burns. Remove the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand. Be sure all the hydraulic pressure is released before any fittings, hoses or components are loosened, tightened, removed or adjusted.
d. Carefully loosen the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank to release the pressure.e. Carefully loosen the plugs at the rear of the tilt cylinder. When the oil from the loosened plugs stops draining, tighten the two plugs. To release the pressure in the attachment cylinders, carefully loosen the two large plugs near the plugs at the top of the loader frame. When the oil from the loosened plugs stops draining, tighten the two large plugs.f. Tighten the filler cap on the hydraulic oil tank.g. The pressure in the hydraulic system has now been released. 4. Remove the bolts and cover (1) from the bottom front of the cab. 5. Put identification marks on hose assemblies (3) that are connected to the hand metering pump. Disconnect the hose assemblies from the hand metering pump.6. Remove the nut and washer that holds hand metering pump (2) in position. Remove the hand metering pump from the splined steering shaft. The following steps are for the installation of the hand metering pump.7. Put hand metering pump (2) in position under the floor of the cab. Align the splined steering shaft with the splines in the hand metering pump. Install the washer and nut that holds the hand metering pump in position.8. Connect hose assemblies (3) to the hand metering pump in their original locations.9. Reinstall cover (1) at the bottom front of the cab. Tighten the bolts that hold the cover to a torque of 20 5 N m (15 4 lb ft).10. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual for the correct filling procedure.11. Separate the steering frame lock link. See the topic "Separate & Connect Steering Frame Lock Link" in this module.12. Start the machine, and check the operation of the steering.Disassemble Hand Metering Pump
Start By:a. remove hand metering pump1. Be sure the hand metering pump is thoroughly clean and free of dirt and debris prior to disassembly. 2. Remove seven bolts (1) and cap (2) from the gerotor assembly. Remove the O-ring seal from the cap. 3. Remove gerotor assembly (3) and spacer (4) from the pump body. Remove the O-ring seal from the gerotor assembly. 4. Remove drive (5) and spacer (6) from the pump body. 5. Remove O-ring seal (7) from the pump body.6. Remove sleeve assembly (8) from the pump body. 7. Disassemble the sleeve assembly. Remove pin (11). Remove spool (9) from sleeve (8). Remove six springs (10) from spool (9) 8. Remove bearing races (12) and bearing (13) from the pump body. 9. Turn the
