Information:

Sudden movement of the machine or release of air or oil under pressure can cause injury to persons on or near the machine. To prevent possible injury, do the procedure which follows before servicing the air system or brakes.
1. Move the machine to a smooth horizontal location. Move away from working machines and personnel.2. Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep all personnel either away from the machine or in view of the operator.3. Activate the secondary brake and parking brake. Lower the bucket to the ground. Put wood blocks in front of and behind the wheels. Stop the engine.4. Continuously push on the brake pedal until there is no more brake air pressure. When the pressure has been removed from the air circuit, there will be no pressure in the hydraulic circuit.5. Be sure all air pressure is released before any fitting, hose or component is loosened, tightened, removed or adjusted. Before any operational checks are made, open the drain valve to release any water in the air reservoir. Water lowers the capacity in the reservoir and can cause the air compressor to run constantly. Close the drain valve.6. Remove the front lower crankcase guard.
View From Under Machine7. Disconnect air hose (1) from the air tank.8. Remove two clamps (2) that hold air bleed cable (3) in position.
View From Under Machine9. Disconnect two air hoses (4) from the air tank.10. Remove four bolts (5), the washers and nuts and straps (6) that hold air tank (7) in position. Remove the air tank. The weight of the air tank is 8 kg (18 lb). Install the air tank in the reverse order of removal.
