SEAL STOCK 8T3394 - Caterpillar

No clearance for man in this area when turning vehicle. When machine is to be lifted, transported on another vehicle or service work being performed near center of machine, connect anti-pivot link between front and rear frames to keep machine in straight ahead position. Before operation and when operating, be sure anti-pivot link, located near lower center of machine, is disconnected and pinned to retaining plates.
1. Remove the cotter pins that hold pins (1) and (2) in place.2. Remove pins (1) and (2) from the anti-pivot link.3. Slide anti-pivot link (3) back into its storage position.4. Install pins (1) and (2) in the original positions and install the cotter pins.5. Remove the cotter pins from the pins and remove pins (1) and (2).6. Slide anti-pivot link (3) forward. Make alignment of the bores in the main frames with the bores in the anti-pivot link.7. Install pins (1) and (2) and the cotter pins that hold them in place.
