936E ( 5GC, 33Z, 45Z ) LoadersDescription of Change: Two new wiring harnesses are used that eliminate an oil pressure switch used to provide power to the service hour meter. The service hour meter is now powered by a new wiring harness connected directly to the "R" terminal on the alternator. The new harnesses allow the service hour meter to function whenever the engine is operating. Previously, the service hour meter would only operate when the oil pressure reached a specific level and the engine was operating under load.Adaptable To: The new 8R7710 Main Harness Assembly and the 4E2510 Wire Assembly replaces the former 9V2035 Main Harness Assembly which has been canceled. The 7T0988 Switch has been canceled and is no longer used. This change is adaptable to all earlier machines with prefixes shown above. Disconnect the wire from the fuse to the service meter and insert the 4E2510 wire in series. Connect the ground wire (black) to the fuel gauge ground terminal.
