Puller Assembly
Some generators are equipped with a "Resistance Temperature Detector" (RTD). The RTD must be removed from the end bracket or front bracket before the bracket is removed. If the RTD is not removed before the bracket is removed, then the RTD will be damage.
Remove the end bracket. Refer to the information that is in the "End Bracket - Remove" section for end bracket removal information.
Install the M20 bolt (10) into the threaded hole that is in the rotor shaft.
Install the FT3109 Puller (11). Refer to Illustration 2.

(14) Puller Assembly Threaded Rods Note: Four M10 threaded rods are required.
Remove the bearing assembly.
Remove the bearing (17) from the bearing sleeve (18).
