Registered devices
The VisionLinkTM Store subscribe function will automatically pre-populate device information for registered satellite devices. This enhancement will allow dealers to subscribe assets installed with registered satellite devices without manual entering of device information into the Store. De-registered devices
The VisionLinkTM Store subscribe screen will display de-registered devices that exist in the Store on the Subscribe screen. If the user attempts to add services, an error message will be displayed to inform the user to register the device before adding services.Subscribe Screen
The following fields will be added to the subscribe screen and populated with data sourced from Caterpillar systems:
Asset ID
Asset Sold Date
VIN NumberThe Asset ID and Asset Sold Date fields will not be editable within the Store. If a change is needed to asset ID or asset sold date, ensure that the data is properly updated in appropriate Caterpillar systems prior to subscribing the asset. The VIN field will be editable within the Store during the subscribe process to allow for manual updates, only when there is no VIN number data sourced from Caterpillar systems. Subscribe Expired Devices
The enhancement will allow dealers to subscribe expired devices in the Store. The subscribe process will change the status of these expired devices automatically regardless of whether the device serial numbers are manually entered or pulled from factory data.
