Caterpillar announces the following Remanufactured cylinder heads for C-15 and C-16 engines:

These cylinder heads feature the improved strength slotted bottom deck casting design.
Dual valve springs is a new feature of the head group that provides additional integrity to the valve system.
Upgrade-to-new (UTN) heads are new casting offerings with new Caterpillar genuine exhaust valves, valve guides, seats, and other critical components.
All components are processed to tight Cat print dimensions and tolerances to ensure top performance.
Each head is leak tested for internal and assembly related leaks.
Reman cylinder head groups come fully assembled to provide a readily available, cost-effective repair alternative.
Core Acceptance
Core acceptance criteria for Caterpillar remanufactured cylinder heads is simple, visual, and requires no special tools. See Core Acceptance Guideline SELD0018 for complete details. All 3406E, C-15 and C-16 cylinder heads are acceptable cores for this offering.
