The UPS View display possesses three components, the menu bar, text window, and status tiles. Refer to illustration 1.

The "Menu Bar" provides selections which allow the user to choose various pull down menus. These menus allow the user to perform different tasks, make system adjustments, and control the UPS.

Note: "Log On" may replace "Enter Password" on the "Menu Bar" for certain systems.Notice that some selections are in black text while other settings are "grayed out". Grayed out text indicates that you can not select those particular functions. Limitations on hardware configuration or your password level may be reasons for not being able to choose a grayed out selection. Refer to illustration 3.

Partial Text WindowText messages that are shown in the "Text Window" of the UPS View software contain system information indicating various operational conditions. Information is displayed in green, yellow, or red text to indicate condition importance.Green Text
Green text is shown during normal system operation and indicates normal operating states or state changes. Green text indicates that there are no notices or alarms that need attention.Yellow Text
Yellow text display information indicates important system information and is a notice only. Yellow text messages indicate an important system condition that is not serious enough to cause a system shutdown.Note: Upon occurrence of yellow text display, a buzzer will sound that gives a notice of a system condition that may require attention.Red Text
Red text display information is an alarm. Red text display information shows the nature of the system fault. The "Telemetry" window is the lower portion of the screen in the UPS View software. This window contains tiles that display the information channels that are monitored by the UPS View software.Floating-Point Tiles
Tiles show fluctuations in system telemetry values. The telemetry information includes, but is not limited to the following:
temperatures
voltages
currents
frequencies

bar graph with numeric information

Numeric TileA numeric tile shows up-to-date telemetry values. The color of the data indicates the status of that specific telemetry channel. Green shows the telemetry is OK, yellow is a notice condition, and red is an alarm condition.Note: The telemetry values are updated two times per second.Bar Graph Display
