(Top View Of Typical Turbocharger Group) Locations of 7E-2326 Ring Seals (3) that are no longer required.Adaptable To: Two 4P-8597 Ring Seals (1), two 7E-4107 Ring Seals (2), and two 7E-2326 Ring Seals (3) have been removed from the 108-5559 and the 9Y-8911 Turbocharger Groups. This change is effective with 3516 (54Z1111, 2PK873) Machine Engines. These seal rings can be removed from the 108-5559 and the 9Y-8911 Turbocharger Groups on earlier 3516 (54Z, 2PK) Machine Engines at overhaul. At the above effective engine serial numbers, only the ring seals were removed. The grooves in the housings are still present. The ring seals can be left out even when the grooves in the housings to accept the ring seals are present.
