These error codes cannot be duplicated and occur before or after an engine startup and before the key switch is turned off the first time after the software upload process.
Perform the following steps to eliminate this problem.
1. After an upload of source or configuration or any combination of this software, watch for VIMS to self-test which indicates the upload is complete.2. At this time and before starting the engine, turn the key switch "OFF" for five seconds and back to the "ON" position. 3. The engine can now be started as required. The addition of Step 2 into the upload process will assure that information in the configuration software is immediately transferred into the interface modules. Failure to add this step can cause events to display that are not valid until the key switch is turned off the first time.An improvement to this process will be announced at a later date.
