The machines which are equipped with Tier 4 Final / Tier 4 Interim (Stage IV / Stage IIIB) C4.4 engines are showing error codes for the pressure sensor in the 345-4153 Fuel Rail Gp. This can cause the engine to derate, and resulting in low power.Blockages or low flow in the low-pressure fuel system will starve the high-pressure system and cause the fuel rail codes to appear.Note: Most of the time, the high-pressure fuel rail components are not faulty.A typical example is the fuel tank internal strainer prematurely clogging up. This will cause the error code under high load conditions.Solution
If the error code occurs after the engine has been worked under high loads (roading, torque stall), check that the low-pressure fuel system is working correctly without any blockages.
