Move propel lever (1) to the NEUTRAL position.
Move parking brake switch (2) to the ON position.

Use throttle control switch (3) to operate the engine in ECO mode or in low idle.Note: Two things indicate when the engine is in ECO mode. First, "ECO" will appear on the display. Second, the second LED next to throttle control switch (3) will be illuminated. Two things indicate when the engine is at low idle. First, "Low Idle" will appear on the display. Second, the first LED next to the throttle control switch will be illuminated.

Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.
Assemble the tooling. Connect Tool (B) to Tool (A). Connect Tool (C) to Tool (B).

Connect Tool (C) to charge pressure tap (5).
Assemble the tooling. Assemble Tool (E). Assemble Tool (F). Attach Tool (F) to Tool (E) so the straight fitting is connected to the inlet side of the flowmeter.

Disconnect hose assembly (6) from tee fitting (7) in the outlet port of charge filter (8).Note: This hose assembly is connected to the charge inlet port on the vibratory pump.
Connect Tool (E) to the outlet port on tee fitting (7) of charge filter (8).
Connect Tool (F) to hose assembly (6).
Move engine start switch (4) to the START position. Release the switch when the engine starts.
Operate the engine at low idle for a few minutes. Depress throttle control switch (3) to operate the engine in high idle.Note: When the engine is at high idle, "High Idle" will appear on display, and the third LED next to throttle control switch (3) will be illuminated.
Monitor the hydraulic oil temperature with Tool (D). Operate the machine until the oil temperature reaches 49 6 °C (120 10 °F).
Use throttle control switch (3) to operate the engine in low idle. Charge pressure must be measured at low idle.Note: Two things indicate when the engine is at low idle. First, "Low Idle" will appear on the display. Second, the first LED next to the throttle control switch will be illuminated. Low idle is 1200 RPM.
Read charge pressure on Tool (A). The pressure should be 2520 200 kPa (365 29 psi).
Read flow on Tool (F). The flow should be 13 2 L/m (3.4 0.5 gpm).
If flow is correct but pressure is either high or low, go to Step 22.
If the flow is too high and the pressure is too high, go to Step 22.
If the flow is too low and the pressure is too high, go to Step 25
If the flow is too low and the pressure is too low, go to Step 22.
If the flow is too high and the pressure is either correct or too low, go to Step 26.
If the pressure is correct but the flow is too low, go to Step 25.
If the pressure is correct and the flow is correct, go to Step 27.
Move engine start switch (4) to the OFF position.

Unhook latch (9) and open the engine compartment.
