Refer to the information in the following article.As an option to the standard AMOCS 163-4061 Radiator Core As in the single plane arrangement, the Olin fin 217-9639 Radiator Core As may be used. The Olin fin core provides more heat rejection than the AMOCS steel core, but is less durable than the steel core. Caterpillar recommends that all sites maintain the cleanliness of the engine compartment and cores with a standard regimen of regular, thorough cleaning with the prescribed air wand. The inclusion of the 217-9639 Radiator Core As package in the single plane arrangement may provide additional cooling capability. This package is only recommended for those sites that maintain a practice of regular cleanliness.
