(2) Adjusting boltsIn order to adjust the bowl,receivers (1) must be adjusted by adjusting bolts (2). In order to adjust the receivers, the following components must be installed to each side of the machine:
The spindle
The service brakes
The wheel
The tire
The rim Note: Check the air pressure in the tires. The tires must have equal pressure and the pressure must be within the correct specifications before the cutting edge is adjusted.

Chock the tractor tires. Chock the tires on the back and the front with Tool (A). Refer to figure 3.
Engage the parking brake. Start the engine and run the engine.
Raise the bowl or lower the bowl in order to obtain a clearance of 152 mm (6 inch) between one side of the cutting edge and the ground.
Measure the distance between the opposite side of the cutting edge and the ground. If the distance from the cutting edge to the ground is not equal on both sides, then proceed to step 5.

Use Tool (B) and Tool (C) to raise the rear of the machine.
Adjust receivers (1) when the weight of the scraper bowl is off of the wheels. Place the weight of the scraper bowl on the wheels. Measure the distance between the cutting edges and the ground. Repeat the procedure until the correct measurement is obtained.
