Information:
Use the procedure which follows to install the new parts.
1. Remove all components from the power control box and drill a hole with a diameter of 14.75 mm (.578") in the location shown. Tap the hole for 5/8"-18 threads for installation of the 4D3771 Setscrew. See Illustration 1.2. Completely clean the inside of the power control box to remove metal shavings and debris.3. Assemble the components, except the centershift control parts, back into the control box.4. Make the modifications which follow to the blade sideshift control. See Illustration 2.When the new parts are installed and the former parts removed, the blade sideshift control can then be solidly engaged instead of controlled with the former clutch.
