Logged Event Codes

An indicator for logged events is provided. The indicator allows the technician to track event codes that are intermittent. The data for the logged event will include the following information:
Event identifier (EID)
Text description of the problem
Number of occurrences of the problem
A time stamp of the first occurrence of the problem
A time stamp of the last occurrence of the problemStatus Groups On Cat® ET
The status groups are lists of machine parameters and are shown in real time.

Monitoring Systems
The monitoring systems continuously monitor all machine systems. The monitoring system consists of both software and hardware. The monitoring system communicates with the ECM's of other systems via the Cat data-link.The following monitoring systems are standard equipment on the 793F:

The Instrument Cluster (IC) monitoring system can indicate warnings that have occurred in the ECM of other systems. The hardware of the IC monitoring system consists of the IC display that is located in the upper center of the dash panel. The IC has the following types of display:
