( 2AC4000, 3AC4000, 8PB4000, 9DB4000 ) TractorsA new extended canopy is now used on the tractors listed above. The headliner for this canopy is held in place using a rubber adhesive. The buttons that were used on earlier tractors are not used.
When a tractor is shipped from the factory without the ROPS canopy installed, the headliner is shipped in a separate box and must be glued in place before the canopy is installed on the tractor.
Use the following method to attach the headliner to the extended canopy.
1. Obtain at least six cans of 5H2471 Adhesive for each canopy that is to have the headliner installed.2. Turn the canopy upside down. Make sure the inside of the canopy is free of rust and loose paint.3. Apply 1.4 kg (3.08 lb) of 5H2471 Adhesive to both the canopy and the headliner. The entire surface should be evenly coated, except for the outer 50 mm (2.0"), to provide access for wiring, on the front, rear and in front of the rollbar on the left side.4. Assemble the headliner in the canopy when the adhesive is tacky.
