Drain the rear axle oil.
Attach magnetic based drill (G) to the bottom of the axle housing as shown in Illustration 2.
Place a drain pan under the magnetic based drill.Note: When the axle is drilled into, the oil which collects in the final drive compartment will drain out.

Use a 11/16 inch drill bit (K) to drill through the center housing.
Allow oil to drain.

Use #8 port tool (L) to drill a port at the bottom of the counterbore. Drill port deep enough to obtain full cleanup on port spotface. Port spotface should be of dimension (E) deep into bottom of counterbore.
