( 1 ) This part is an alternative to machining the original case assembly. Ordering bolt dampeners is not required as case assembly comes with the bolt dampeners assembled.Modification Procedure

Machine the existing 348-9901 Case (23) bolt holes. These holes are currently 14 mm (0.55 inch) holes. Counter bore to 17.5 mm (0.69 inch), drilled 49 mm (1.93 inch) deep. Fully clean up parts, remove all machining chips.
Install bolt dampers (5) by hand.
Install the case assembly using bolts (3) and washers (4) .
Fill with oil (1) .Note: Alternatively, case assembly (2) can be used. This assembly comes with the bolt dampeners assembled.
