Multiple DSNs reveal Product Link integration problems on compactors and all machines that are equipped with Product Link PL121SR or Product Link PL321SR radio systems. The multiple DSNs are CAT-129891, CAT-129503, CAT-162332, and CAT-175505-TXT6.RF noise from flash-tube strobe and mechanically operated light systems mounted on cab roof are interfering with the ability for the Product Link PL121SR and PL321SR radio systems to receive Orbcomm satellite signals.Solution
Replace the existing flash-tube style beacons and mechanically operated light beacons with LED style beacons on all machine products equipped with Product Link PL121SR and Product Link PL321SR radio systems with CAT P/N 338-1132 Warning Beacon Lamp Gp .
