Lift the loader arms and engage the loader arms with the brace.
Remove the existing A/C filter cover and the fresh air filter.
Clean the fresh air filter or replace the fresh air filter.

Assemble the 258-4379 Knob As (7) and 7X-2031 Retainer (8) onto the 305-8046 Cover As (3). The retainer should be positioned at the inside of the cover.

Install 348-3485 Dust Valve (6) onto 305-8046 Cover As (3). Pinch the lip of the valve. Insert the lip of the valve into the cover from the bottom.

Install 305-8046 Cover As (3) over the fresh air filter.
Secure the cover assembly with the 258-4379 Knob As (7) .

Install 305-8047 Hose (4) to 305-8046 Cover As (3) .

Location of the 172-8591 Spring Nuts
Run the screws through the tabs of the tube while you hold the tube in place. This method will help determine the best location for attaching the spring nuts to the mesh of the cab enclosure. Install three 172-8591 Spring Nuts (2) on the cab in the locations in Illustration 6. Ensure that the threaded portion of the nut is on the back side of the wire mesh of the cab.

(1) 121-9870 Screws (5) 305-8048 Tube As (9) 280-8377 Spacer
Attach 305-8048 Tube As (5) to the 172-8591 Spring Nuts (2) with three 121-9870 Screws (1). Use one 280-8377 Spacer (9) between the Tube Assembly and each Spring Nut. Refer to Illustration 6.Note: If the cab needs to be raised, you MUST first remove the 305-8046 Cover As (3).
