1. Install rod end (1) on control cable so that one-half of the threads are engaged in the rod end.2. Loosen nuts (7) on the bulkhead. Move the transmission selector lever to neutral and push in the neutral lock.3. Tighten bulkhead nuts (7).4. Install nut (16), washer (15), seal (14) and bracket (9) past the threads on the transmission end of cable assembly (4).

Apply 9S3263 Thread Lock on the threads of the control cable and tighten locknut (11).6. Move direction spool (8) to the neutral position and attach end (10) to the transmission direction spool.7. Turn bracket (9) on cable assembly (4) until the bracket face contacts the transmission face, then back off bracket (9) one-half turn. Disconnect end (10) from spool (8) and install seal (13) into the bracket, attach end (10) again to spool (8) and install bolts that hold bracket (9) to the transmission.8. Position seal (14), washer (15) and tighten nut (16) to lock cable assembly (4) in place.Speed Linkage
