(1) Torque for nuts ... 33 7 N m (24 5 lb ft)(2) Put 5P3413 Thread Sealant on threads before installation of valve assembly.(3) Inflate spring with air through valve assembly (2) as follows: (4) Torque for bolts ... 135 20 N m (100 15 lb ft)(5) Rubber toric seals and all surface contact with them must be clean and dry at assembly. Put a thin layer of oil on the surfaces of the metal seals that are in contact just before installation. Put lubricant on all other seals at assembly. Procedure To Adjust Suspension Bogie Bearings (later):1. Make sure outboard bearing cone (10) slides easily on axle (11) and locknut (8) rotates freely on axle (11) threads.2. While Rotating hub assembly (7) 3 revolutions, tighten locknut (8) to 34 7 N m (25 5 lb ft).3. If any locknut (8) slot and lockwasher (9) tang are aligned, bend the aligned tang into engagement with slot to lock in place.4. If locknut (8) slot and lockwasher (9) tang are not aligned, tighten locknut (8) until first locknut (8) slot and lockwasher (9) tang are aligned. Then bend the aligned tang into engagement with slot to lock in place.
