Securing the Implement
Improper attachment of implements could result in injury or death.Do not operate this machine until you have positive indication that the coupler pins are fully engaged. Follow recommended procedure in Operation and Maintenance Manual.

(1) Linkage pin (2) Linkage pin (3) Bolts (4) Nuts
Position the implement on a level surface.
Install linkage pins (1) and (2) on the implement with bolts (3) and nuts (4) .

(5) Quick coupler
Retract the bucket cylinder. Position quick coupler (5) in alignment between linkage pins (1) and (2) .

(6) Fixed arm
Extend the bucket cylinder until fixed arm (6) closes on linkage pin (2) .

Move the quick coupler switch forward in order to engage the quick coupler. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Quick Coupler Control".

Raise the boom or raise the stick. The implement is locked in place. The implement is ready to use.

Close the access cover on the rear of the right console.Releasing the Implement
Disengaging the coupler will release the implement from control of the operator.Serious injury or death may result from disengaging the bucket or implement when it is in an unstable position or carrying a load.Place the bucket or implement in a safe position before disengaging the coupler.

Level the bucket or level the implement on the ground.

Move the quick coupler switch backward in order to disengage the quick coupler. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Quick Coupler Control".

Retract the bucket cylinder in order to disengage the coupler from linkage pin (1) .

Move the stick in order to disengage the coupler from linkage pin (2) .
