Each machine is equipped with lifting points. Install the lifting lines to the designated lifting points. For lifting objects, use properly rated lifting lines (cables, chains, and straps) and use properly rated lifting devices (tooling, spreader bars, slings, and hardware).Position the crane in order to lift the machine in a level plane. The width of the spreader bar must be sufficient to prevent the lifting cables or the lifting straps from contacting the machine.
Park the machine on a level surface in the straight ahead position, engage the parking brake, and stop the engine.
Install the steering frame lock pin prior to lifting the machine.
Attach two lifting cables to the rear of the machine. There is one lifting eye on each side of the rear of the machine. The lifting eyes are identified by a label that shows a hook.
Attach two lifting cables to the front of the machine. There is one eye on each side of the front of the machine. The lifting eyes are identified by a label that shows a hook.
Connect the four lifting cables to the spreader bars. The spreader bars must be centered over the machine.
If equipped, secure any attachments.

Install the steering frame lock.
Install wheel blocks or chocks to the front and rear wheels, when possible. Place blocks under the front wheels and under the rear wheels. Placing blocks may not be possible due to the design of the load platform. In this case, place blocks or chocks in suitable locations in order to prevent machine movement during transportation.
