Note: O-ring seals, gaskets, and seals should always be replaced. A used O-ring may not have the same sealing properties as a new O-ring seal. A reconditioning procedure should not be degraded because of a low cost component such as an O-ring seal or a gasket. Use Tooling (F) during the assembly procedure.

Apply Tooling (B) on the outer surface of bearing (6) and the inside diameter of rear track roller frame (4). Install bearing (6) in rear track roller frame (4). Install retaining ring (7).
Use Tooling (C) to position seal (8) into rear track roller frame (4).
Use Tooling (F) to install the seal.
Lightly lubricate the seal and bearing (6) with the lubricant that is being sealed.
Use caution when installing the front track roller frame to prevent damage to the seal in the rear track roller frame.

Mark Tooling (E) for length and cut Tooling (E).
Attach a suitable lifting device to front track roller frame (5). The weight of front track roller frame (5) is approximately 499 kg (1100 lb). Install front track roller frame (5) in rear track roller frame (4).

Attach Tooling (G) to move front track roller frame (5) into position in rear track roller frame (4).

Apply Tooling (B) to the shoulders of retainer (3). Install retainer (3) and bolts (2). Tighten bolts (2) to a torque of 105 20 N m (77 15 lb ft).
Connect the track.

Lift blade (1) and remove Tooling (A). Lower the blade.
Fill the recoil spring compartment with oil. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Recoil Spring Compartment Oil Level - Check". Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Refill Capacity"
