Attach a suitable lifting device to tilt cylinder (5) . The weight of tilt cylinder (5) is approximately 80 kg (175 lb). Disconnect hose assembly (7) and grease hose assembly (8) . Cylinders equipped with lock valves can remain pressurized for very long periods of time, even with the hoses removed.Failure to relieve pressure before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder can result in personal injury or death.Ensure all pressure is relieved before removing a lock valve or disassembling a cylinder.

(1) Lubricate the sealing lip with the lubricant that is being sealed. (2) Apply Tooling (D) to the seal groove prior to the assembly of the seal. (5) Apply Tooling (C) to the threads of the head. Tighten the head to a torque of 600 130 N m (443 96 lb ft). (4) Apply Tooling (C) to the threads of the lock nut. Tighten the lock nut to a torque of 3000 300 N m (2213 221 lb ft).Tooling (B) is used for the removal of bearing (3) .Tooling (A) is used for the removal of bearing (6) .Installation Procedure
