This information is stated in the price list.In order to maximize the reliability of the jacket water heaters, the canister heaters must be turned off during operation of the generator set. If the AC power input is left on during engine operation, premature failure of the thermostat can occur due to vibration during generator set operation.Add a contactor for control that is energized from the crank relay for the engine. This will ensure that the heater is turned off while the generator set is running. The contactor must be rated for either 3, 6 or 12 kW power requirement.
