PROBLEM
The weld for the hydraulic tank can crack on certain 336D L Excavators. If the weld cracks, this can lead to oil leaks.

ACTION REQUIRED
If there are leaks from the hydraulic tank weld and cracks detected, replace the hydraulic tank with a new 395-3376 Hydraulic Tank Group.
Refer to RENR8648, Disassembly and Assembly, "System Pressure - Release", before completing this Rework Procedure.

Note: Use clean equipment and follow contamination control procedures when draining, storing, and refilling the hydraulic oil.
