Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the cab.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the proper draining and filling procedures.

Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and hose assembly (2). Disconnect tube assembly (3) .

Disconnect hose assemblies (4) and tube assembly (5) .

Disconnect all harness assemblies (6) from the steering valve. Disconnect all hose assemblies (7) from the steering valve
Disconnect hose assembly (8). Remove hose and tube assembly (3) .

Remove manifold (11) from steering valve (10) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to steering valve (10). The weight of steering valve (10) is approximately 45 kg (100 lb). Remove bolts (12) and loosen bolts (13). Remove steering valve (10) .Installation Procedure
Install steering valve (10) in the reverse order of removal.
