Attach Tooling (A) to the left and right sides of the front axle assembly, as shown.
Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device onto Tooling (A).
Install front axle assembly (4) onto the machine. The weight of front axle assembly (4) is approximately 5230 kg (11500 lb).
Install bolts (3) onto each side of axle housing (4). Tighten bolts (3) to a torque of 2000 250 N m (1480 185 lb ft).

Install hose assembly (1) onto block (2).
Purge the air from the front service brakes. Refer to the Systems Operation, Testing, & Adjusting Manual for the machine that is being serviced for the proper procedure.
Check the oil level of the hydraulic tank. Refer to the Operations and Maintenance Manual for the machine that is being serviced for the proper procedure. End By:
Install the front axle guards. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Axle Guards (Front) - Remove and Install".
Install the front wheel assemblies. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Tire and Rim (Front) - Remove and Install".
